A cooking class is an add-on to a two-days-meeting at Fru Larsen. On the day of arrival you have time to work with your professional agenda – only disrupted by refreshments and a homemade 2-cours lunch.
When ’business’ is over you meet with our chefs in the kitchen (approx. at 4PM). You get your own aprons, we go through the menu of the day, share our recipes, put together teams – and then we start preparing appetizers and a 3-course menu to be enjoyed in the evening with sparkling wine, wine pairing and a good cup of coffee & sweets in the restaurant.
You spend the night in Fru Larsens well-arranged rooms – and start the next morning with a solid, home-made breakfast, before you leave us.
Spend a few cosy hours in Fru Larsens køkken – and get the tips & tricks for the perfect chocolate covered marshmallow from our chefs before trying to make them yourselves. Enjoy the coffee/tea while working – and take 6 homemade chocolate covered marshmallows on marzipan home.
The workshop can be arranged separately – or as part of a one- or two-days meeting.
Also our wine tasting is targeted our one- or two-days-meeting packages – and, therefore, we offer two different versions which can be chosen from your level of ambition or the time you have available.

For more than 8 years, Fru Larsen has been our setting for Nopa Nordic’s strategy, board and management group meetings.
Many important decisions have been made in an atmosphere which is always present, attentive and warm – and we feel that the focus of the waiters and chefs has a certain influence on the creativity, level of detail and focus which is the purpose of our meetings. We are 100% present, see our dialogues all through and leave Laurbjerg with thoroughly prepared plans.
The flexibility at Fru Larsen is unsurpassed, all practical matters work perfectly, the food is impressive – and menus with special ingredients, etc. are handled extremely professionally giving all of us a unique gastronomic experience.
We have tried alternatives – but we always and often return to Fru Larsen.
We had our traditional Christmas Party 2019 at Fru Larsen – and experienced that the atmosphere of the house gave our event an excellent setting, connected us as a team – and resulted in a great and different team event.
When planning the dialogue was good and open – and the collaboration with us as well as our external partners for teambuilding and entertainment during the evening worked perfectly.
Fair, with confidence and absolutely without economical surprises, we carried through part of the event on a fixed budget and the rest on an open bill – it worked perfectly. The kitchen gave us a wonderful, culinary experience – starting in the sunroom and continuing in the restaurant in a relaxed, stylish and cosy atmosphere. The menu had a selective wine pairing. We experienced a high degree of flexibility during the day and not least on our end time – and we finished with good coffee, a few bottles of wine and great drinks till quite late.
All feedback on rooms and hotel facilities was positive – and the breakfast was, not least, a nice way to finish our Christmas tradition at A-LEAF.
