Fru Larsen welcomes you with a very personal atmosphere and invites you to expect something special; a dining and service experience out of the ordinary. Gastronomy is our natural focus and the ingredients, as well as the style of our kitchen, are special. Every day a close-knit team of chef nerds and food enthusiasts meet in the kitchen aiming at pleasing our guests with an unforgettable lunch or dinner. We find joy in ingredients and vegetables in season and cook respectfully, gently – and with a special edge.
In our kitchen nothing is random. Everything we do makes sense – and the results are characteristic courses combining the classical and the innovative kitchens. Served and presented at plain and beautiful table-settings by our dedicated waiter- and sommelier team who adds an extra dimension to the servings with interesting and alternative wine pairings.
Expect something special – whether you enjoy a wonderful, home-made breakfast in our atrium after spending the night at our hotel, stop by for lunch or visit the restaurant with a crackling fire in the open fireplace for an a la carte dinner or our gourmet menu.
Fru Larsen has her own personality – to which we add our passion for the warm, attentive hosting and a very special atmosphere. December 2020 | We’re closing down our restaurant, retiré for 2020 and wish all guest, partners and friends of Fru Larsen a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to see you again in 2021 and our first service will be on Thursday, January 7.
